Brick & Lace was an R&B duo from Jamaica that consisted of sisters Nyanda and Nailah Thorbourne and was active until 2013.
biography
The two sisters were born as daughters of a gospel singer and a female singer. They grew up in Kingston, the capital of Jamaica, and studied in Miami . Their music mainly includes modern R&B, but also dancehall reggae, hip-hop and soul. They first became famous as the opening act for a concert by Roberta Flack . The group runs under the record label Kon Live Records by the musician Akon. In 2007 they recorded their first album Love Is Wicked , which also featured Akon and Will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas .
The single Love Is Wicked is a hit in France with over 120,000 copies sold, as the track is very often played by the NRJ network. The sisters have been pursuing solo projects since 2013.
