The Bridal Veil Falls (German " Bride's Veil Falls " ) are the smallest of three waterfalls that are collectively referred to as Niagara Falls .

The 17 m wide waterfall is located between the two islands of Goat Island and Luna Island . The island of Luna Island separates it from the American Falls , which also belong to the Niagara Falls. Both falls, unlike the largest of the three, Horseshoe Falls , are entirely located in the US state - New York . All three waterfalls have the Niagara River as an inflow and outflow. It is not known exactly what percentage of the Niagara River flows through the Bridal Veil Falls. Since only ten percent of the river drains through the American Falls, the proportion of the Bridal Veil Falls is likely to be much lower. Its height is only 24 meters because it then hits a dump of rubble . If you include this, it reaches a height of 55 meters.

Directly under the Bridal Veil Falls is the tourist attraction “Cave of the Winds” , where spectators can walk close to the waterfall. The participants receive a rain cover. There are several hiking trails in the area.
