Brigitte year

Brigitte year (* 19th May 1951 in Gera ) is a German politician of the SPD and from 2002 to 2006 member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt .

Life and work

After graduating from high school in 1969, she studied at the Technical University of Leuna-Merseburg and graduated in 1973 with a degree in chemistry. She then worked as a research assistant in basic research at the VEB Fotochemisches Kombinat Wolfen until 1979 . From 1979 to 1984 she was laboratory manager. From 1985 to 1987, Jahr was quality assurance officer at VEB Wasserwirtschaft Bitterfeld . She then worked on the production director's staff. In 1992 she became managing director of Wolfener Analytik GmbH.

Year is divorced and has two children.

Political party

1993 year became a member of the SPD. From 1997 she was a member of the state board of the self-employed group in the SPD (AGS) and from 1999 to 2006 on the federal board of the AGS.

MPs

Jahr was a member of the district council in the Bitterfeld district from 1994 to 1998 and was a member of the economic committee. Between 2002 and 2006 she was a member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt and represented the constituency of Bitterfeld. Jahr was a member of the Environment Committee and the Petitions Committee.
