Brina Vogelnik (* 1977 in Ljubljana ) is a Slovenian artist who is best known for her new interpretations of Slovenian folk songs. In addition to her vocal career, she also devotes herself to animation film.

Career

Brina Vogelnik was born in 1977 as the daughter of the illustrator, costume designer and director Eka Vogelnik . Vogelnik began his musical training with the piano. The vocal path led her to folk music. Her first independent appearances followed in 1995. In 1998 she animated and sang the leading actress in the animated short film "A saved tolar". The film was shown at the Festival of Slovenian Film in Portorož . With their first band "Šišenska bajka" the door to their first album Graščakinja opened. In 2003 she founded the band Brina.
