Brock (pronounced Brook) is a district of Ostbevern in the Warendorf district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

location

Brock is a typical Wegedorf . It is located at the intersection of state roads 830 and 811. The Brock farmers are nearby.

Residents

The village had 585 inhabitants on December 31, 2011.

history

The village was originally counted to Westbevern . On January 1, 1975, it was counted as part of the regional reform in North Rhine-Westphalia to Ostbevern. As a result, Ostbevern grew by 1200 inhabitants (place with surrounding area).

Facilities

Immediately at the intersection is the Herz-Jesu-Kirche . The museum of historical washing technology is also located there. A half-timbered settlement has been built there since 1981, the building materials of which come from old buildings from different regions.
