Bronislavas Juozas Kuzmickas
Bronislavas Juozas Kuzmickas (born November 10, 1935 in Juodraistis , Prienai Rajongemeinde ) is a Lithuanian philosopher, professor and politician.
Life
He studied at Prienai High School . After graduating from the 14th Kaunas Middle School in Julijanava , he studied philosophy at the Faculty of History and Philology of the Vilniaus universitetas in 1960 . From 1963 to 1966 he studied in Moscow . In 1966 he received his doctorate and in 1984 his habilitation in philosophy. From 1968 he taught as a lecturer at VU. He has been a professor since 1987 . From 1966 to 1973 he taught at the Vilniaus inžinerinis statybos institutas . From 1990 to 1992 and from 1996 to 2000 he was a member of the Seimas . From 1993 to 1996 he taught at the Klaipėdos universitetas , from 2001 at the Mykolo Romerio universitetas .
He was a member of the CPSU , from 1988 of Sąjūdis , from 1994 of Tėvynės sąjunga - Lietuvos krikščionys demokratai .
In 2000 he was awarded the Gediminas Order .
