Bronski und Bernstein was a German crime series produced by the neue deutsche Filmgesellschaft mbH (ndF) for the NDR , which was broadcast on Wednesdays from March 14, 2001 to June 13, 2001 on the evening before ARD .

action

Wolfgang Bronski is a commissioner at the Hamburg criminal police . His father was shot dead while on duty as a patrol officer. That is why he feels particularly responsible for his mother and sister. He is one of Chief Inspector Theo Micklitz's best officials. Everything could be good for Bronski, but one day he will be given a partner. And what a man: his name is Guido Bernstein and is none other than the son of the police chief. For the always correct Bronski, who always strictly adheres to the rules, this is almost a culture shock . Because Bernstein does not think much of rules, but also uses unconventional methods to clarify a case. In the beginning, the two of them almost dislike each other, but in the course of their collaboration a deep friendship develops. Now Bronski also participates in the rule-breaking methods of his partner, which means that her boss Micklitz is on the verge of a nervous breakdown almost at the end of every episode, often suspending the two and saying "Now out! Both!" throws out of his office.

After the success of Adelheid and her murderers , the ARD wanted to produce a more recent crime comedy. But the ratings fell short of expectations, so that it was over after 13 episodes.
