Bronx Kill is a narrow inlet in New York City between the Harlem and East Rivers that separates the southern Bronx from Randalls Island . The 1.4 km long watercourse was originally about 180 m wide, but was narrowed over time by embankments to a ditch barely 20 m wide.

It is crossed by the railway bridge of the New York Connecting Railroad and the northern eight-lane road bridge belonging to the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge complex . These bridges were built when people were still thinking of converting the inlet into a navigable canal. Both bridges therefore have spans of over 100 m, with which parts of the newly built sports facilities are crossed today. Under the railway bridge, a footbridge in the form of a red-painted flat was around 2010 half-timbered - arch bridge built. This greenway connector is designed to give pedestrians and cyclists from the Bronx access to the parks and sports facilities on Randalls Island.

The narrow, tidal channel can dry out in places. The Bronx Kill is used by canoeists who were able to have Consolidated Edison remove a concrete beam with pipes that crossed the watercourse under the railway bridge at such a low level that it occasionally dipped in during high tide.
