Coordinates: 34 ° 2 ′ S , 117 ° 38 ′ E The Shire of Broomehill-Tambellup is a local government area (LGA) in the Australian state of Western Australia . The area is 2609 km² and has about 1150 inhabitants (2016).
Broomehill-Tambellup is located in the south of the state about 270 kilometers southeast of the capital Perth . The headquarters of the Shire Council is in the village of Tambellup in the center of the LGA, where 375 residents live (2016).

The Broomehill-Tambellup Council has nine members elected by residents of the two wards (five from the South, four from the North Ward). The Council Chairman and President des Shires are also recruited from among the Councilor.
