The Brown Hills (English for brown hills ) are a group of snow-free hills in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Cook Mountains , they are north of the lower section of the Darwin Glacier .
Participants of a team to explore the Darwin Glacier in the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1955-1958) named them after their color.
