The Brown Point ( English for brown headland ) is a headland on the north coast of South Georgia . It is located between Steep Point and Glacier Point on the east bank of Possession Bay .
The headland's descriptive name is first found on a 1938 British Admiralty map based on surveys made by the 1930 Discovery Investigations .
