Bruce M. Buck is an American entrepreneur and CEO of the English soccer club Chelsea FC .

General

Buck is a managing partner at the US law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom . In 1983 he moved to Europe as part of a posting by the White & Case law firm , where he then stayed permanently. In 1988, Buck was hired by Skadden and has been working there ever since. He is currently the managing director of the law firm in Europe. His customers include the Sibneft company , which was in the hands of Roman Abramowitsch until 2006 . Abramowitsch also brought Buck to Chelsea. The American has been a fan of the blues since the 1980s and has had a season ticket at Stamford Bridge since the early 1990s . He is the only shareholder besides Abramovich, although he only owns one share. The current chairman representing the Russian - Israeli entrepreneur rarely appears in public. Buck is married and has three children.
