Bruce Pirnie
Bruce Pirnie (born September 20, 1942 in Boston , United States ) is a former Canadian shot putter .
At the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, he came in 17th place.
In 1974 he won bronze at the British Commonwealth Games in Christchurch , and in 1975 he won the Pan American Games in Mexico City .
At the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, he was eliminated in qualification.
He was five times Canadian champion (1970, 1972-1975).
He set his personal best of 19.88 m on August 13, 1975 in Regina .
