Bruce Thornton

Bruce Stacy Thornton (born August 2, 1953 in Fresno County , California ) is an American literary scholar and publicist.

After finishing school, Thornton studied at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). He received a Bachelor of Latin America degree in 1975 and his Ph.D. in comparative literature, Greek, Latin and English. After graduating, Thornton wrote several books and got a job as a university lecturer.

Thornton wrote numerous articles for various newspapers and magazines ( Los Angeles Times , Washington Times ). He is married, lives in Fresno and has two sons.
