Bruno Dobler

Bruno Dobler (* 1952 ) is a Swiss politician and entrepreneur from Eglisau and Andermatt .

Life

Bruno Dobler originally worked in various regional and major banks. From 1977 to 1979 he worked as deputy sales manager at Flug- und Fahrzeugwerke Altenrhein and was among other things as an international seller of training aircraft in Africa and Europe. He then worked as a pilot at Crossair until 2001 . From 2003 to 2006 he was chief pilot at Helvetic Airways . In 2006, he also took over the management of this airline as CEO and implemented a turnaround. He left the company in 2008.

From 2008 to 2011 Bruno Dobler was CEO of the Toggenburger Bergbahnen. From 2011 to 2019 he was a member of the board of directors of Zürcher Kantonalbank and, in this function, Vice-President of the Bank Council.

He also founded the Horizon Swiss Flight Academy in 1979 and Classic Air AG (adventure airline with DC-3 aircraft) in 1985 . He has been working as an independent business coach since 2011 and is a member of the Board of Directors of B + D Beteiligungen AG.

From 1995 to 2003 Dobler was a member of the Zurich Cantonal Council . At first he represented the Auto Party there , after leaving he was re-elected as a non-party and later a member of the SVP . Bruno Dobler is the partner of the Uri government councilor Heidi Z'graggen , who ran for the Federal Council in 2018.
