Bruno Güttner
Bruno Güttner (* 1909 ; † September 13, 1945 in France ) was a German actor .
Life
Bruno Güttner was the son of Anna and Vittorio Güttner . He became famous for his lead role of Sherlock Holmes in the first German sound film for a Sherlock Holmes detective story, The Hound of the Baskervilles . It is known that after the death of his father he completed some figures for his diorama "Coming Home from Battle".
Güttner served in the rank of corporal during World War II and then died in France. His grave is in the German war cemetery Champigny-Saint-André .
