Bruno Poet
Bruno Poet is a British lighting designer who works for theater , opera and concert stages .
life and work
Poet has worked on the UK's premier spoken theater stages including the Royal Shakespeare Company , the National Theater and the Old Vic Theater . His work has received several awards. In the opera he works regularly with the directors Daniel Slater , Thaddeus Strassberger and Olivia Fuchs . For several years he has worked regularly at the opera houses of Garsington , Leeds, Copenhagen and Oslo, but also has engagements at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London, at the Salzburg Festival and at the Theater an der Wien , as well as at numerous other opera stages in Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
Bruno Poet created the lighting design for the Jónsi World Tour of the Icelandic guitarist and singer Jón Þór Birgisson in 2010 and for a tour of Jónsi's band Sigur Rós in the summer of 2012 .
