Bruno Solo , actually Bruno Lassalle , (born September 23, 1964 in Paris ) is a French actor and television presenter.

Life

Lassalle came to television after a short time at the theater, where he initially worked as a warm-upper . He became a presenter at Canal + and presented the program Top Singles & Titres (Top 50) alongside Yvan Le Bolloc'h from 1991 to 1993 and the program Le plein de super from 1993 to 1994 . At the beginning of his collaboration with Le Bolloc'h, he performed under the stage name Bruno Solo. He chose the surname in homage to Han Solo from the Star Wars movie , which he first saw at the age of 13. From 2001 to 2004 he stood in front of the camera with Yvan Le Bolloc'h for the sketch series Caméra café broadcast by M6 , which consisted of seven-minute episodes each. As a spin-off of the series, the film Espace détente was released in 2005 , in which Solo and Le Bolloc'h took on their series roles. In 2009, Le séminaire Caméra Café was a sequel to Espace détente .

Solo made his screen debut in 1995 in the comedy film Tom est tout seul by Fabien Onteniente . He had his breakthrough as a comedian in 1997 in the mistaken comedy Lies Have Short Skirts ; Film sequels followed in 2001 and 2012. Solo also appeared in Der Oberst und ich (2006), directed by Laurent Herbiet , and played a supporting role in Bruno Podalydès ' Auf der Parkbank .

Solo is a regular guest on television shows, including shows like On ne peut pas plaire à tout le monde , Tout le monde en parle , On n'est pas couché and Qui veut gagner des millions? ( Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? ). Occasionally solo appears as a stage actor.

On the set of Livraison à domicile , Solo met the make-up artist Véronique Clochepin in 2002 ; both married in 2005. The marriage has a daughter; Clochepin also has a son from a previous relationship.
