Bruno Warendorp the Younger († 1411 ) was councilor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck.

Life

Bruno Warendorp was the son of the Lübeck citizen Wilhelm Warendorp and the grandson of the Lübeck mayor Bruno Warendorp . The younger one he is called to differentiate himself from the Lübeck mayor Bruno von Warendorp , with whom he was a member of the Lübeck council at the same time. Bruno Warendorp the Younger was elected to the Lübeck Council in 1367. He represented the city at the Hanseatic Days from 1388 to 1405. He left the city in the course of the civil unrest of 1408 and joined the old council's action against the new council. The New Council confiscated the assets it had left behind in Lübeck.

Warendorp was a member of the patrician circle society . In his first marriage he was married to Elisabeth, geb. Wullenpunt. In his second marriage he married Gertrud, a daughter of councilor Johann Lange . He lived in Königstrasse 77 until his exile . The councilor Bruno Warendorp († 1457) was his son; the councilor Tidemann Morkerke a son-in-law.
