Bu Tao

Bu Tao ( Chinese  卜 涛 , Pinyin Bǔ Tāo ; born January 15, 1983 in Henan , People's Republic of China ) is a Chinese baseball player .

The 1.80 m tall and 86 kg heavy Bu is a pitcher for the Chinese national baseball team. He played with the Jiangsu Hopestars until 2006 and with the Sichuan Dragons from 2007 . Bu represented his country at the World Baseball Classic in 2006 and 2009. He is number 68. In 2008 he took part in the Olympic Games . He was used in three games and he was credited with two losses . Against Canada he was in 4 1/3 innings five earned runs on, against Cuba in just 1 1/3 innings even seven. Ironically , he threw his best game against the eventual gold medalist South Korea when he did not have to allow a run in 3 2/3 innings , but China lost the game 0–1.
