2008 Summer Olympics / Baseball

At the XXIX. During the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing , a baseball competition was held. Eight teams took part in the men's tournament. Each country was allowed to field a team of 24 players each, resulting in a total of 192 participating athletes in this competition. The International Olympic Committee has decided to remove baseball from the 2012 Summer Olympics program . So this sport was played for the last time at the Olympic Games.
