Bubonic Doom is a Portuguese independent label initiated in 2006 .

history

The sub-label of Bubonic Productions specializes in various forms of Extreme Doom Metal . Like the parent label, Bubonic Doom originally focused on the release of high-quality music cassettes . The concept was widely recognized and hailed as underground and cult. Publications in other formats followed, however, especially due to the product range, Bubonic Doom grew in popularity faster than the parent label.

The label hadn't released any new releases for a long time after 2012. The label's website has been discontinued and sales will be handled by Altare Productions . In 2019 a new album about Bubonic Doom was released with Cleansing by Bosque .
