Buchenhagen (Baunatal)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Buchenhagen was a short-lived community in the northern Hessian district of Kassel . Today its former area belongs to the town of Baunatal .

history

In the course of the regional reform in Hesse on September 1, 1970, the previously independent communities Guntershausen and Rengershausen were dissolved and merged to form the new community Buchenhagen.

As early as August 1, 1972, the municipality of Buchenhagen was incorporated into the city of Baunatal by virtue of state law.

The community name comes from a place that was located roughly in the middle between the two places Guntershausen and Rengershausen and which fell desolately.
