Bundestag constituency Jena - Weimar - Weimarer Land

The federal constituency of Jena - Weimar - Weimarer Land was a constituency in Thuringia in the 2002 federal election . It included the independent cities of Jena and Weimar as well as the district of Weimarer Land .

The constituency was re-established as part of the 2002 constituency reform , but was dissolved again for the 2005 Bundestag election . The area of ​​the constituency was divided into the constituencies Gera - Jena - Saale-Holzland-Kreis , Kyffhäuserkreis - Sömmerda - Weimarer Land I and Erfurt - Weimar - Weimarer Land II .

The direct mandate in the 2002 Bundestag election was won by Christoph Matschie ( SPD ) with 44.4% of the first votes .
