The Federal Association for Classical-Baroque Horse Riding Germany e. V. (BfkbR) is a port organization of the German Equestrian Federation (FN) based in the community Wedemark , and has set itself the goal of those elements of the equestrian center that is not in the regulations of the International Federation of Equestrian Sports (FEI) catchment found to maintain and promote in the cavalry ( baroque riding art ). These include, for example, weightless work (lunging, double lungeing, manual labor) as an important part of training, high school jumps and side saddle riding, but also traditional riding techniques from z. B. the Iberian and French areas, which have their roots in the Baroque and Classical periods .

The BfkbR is establishing a training system for classic-baroque trainers recognized by the FN and its own tournament system, also for FN tournaments. In April 2007 the first level of training, Trainer C , was approved by the FN, and in 2010 the first B-Trainer course was held.

The association also serves as a platform for the exchange of information and interests among its members and the connection to breeding associations.

The cooperating regional associations North Rhine-Westphalia / Lower Saxony, East and the regional association in Bavaria accept direct members.
