Bungeoppang is a Korean pastry in the shape of a fish, similar to the Japanese Taiyaki .

They are baked with a waffle iron in the shape of a fish. The dough is poured into the fish-shaped mold, anko is added and then dough is poured over it again. They are often offered at street stalls.

In Korean referred bungeo ( 붕어 ) the species of fish crucian and ppang ( ) means bread . Alternatively, the pastry is also called Ingeoppang ( German  carp bread ) , as ingeo ( 잉어 ) means carp .
