Manuel José da Luz Correia Curto , called Manuel Curto (born July 9, 1986 in Torres Vedras ) is a Portuguese football player .

Career

In his youth Manuel Curto spent eight years in the youth system of Benfica Lisbon where he was still used as an attacking man.

After a few years in the lower leagues, he moved to GD Estoril Praia in the Segunda League . In the 2010/11 season he moved to Naval 1º de Maio , where he made his debut in the Primeira Liga on September 24, 2010 .

On March 20, 2012, he scored two goals against SC Beira-Mar , helping his team to the final score of 2-2.

In January 2013 he moved to FK Taras . On the first match day he scored two goals in his team's 4-1 against FK Atyrau .
