Burçağ Başel (born May 15, 1989 in Kadıköy, Istanbul ) is a Turkish football player who plays for Sivasspor .

Career

Burçağ Başel went through the youth of Kartal Cevizli Gençlergücü and Pendikspor and then moved to the youth of Fenerbahçe Istanbul in 2002 . In 2006 he received a professional contract from his club, but played two seasons exclusively for the second selection. In 2008/09 he was loaned to third division club Alibeyköyspor and was able to play 21 league games here. In 2009/10 he moved to third division club Tavşanlı Linyitspor . Here he only played two games and moved again for the winter break, this time to fourth division team Darıca Gençlerbirliği . Here, too, he only stayed half a season and was hired for the new season by fourth division club 'Anadolu Üsküdar'.

He has been active for the first division club Sivasspor since the 2011/12 season . Here he has previously played for the second selection, but has a license to play for the professional team.
