The castle Altdischingen even Alteburg called, is a Outbound hilltop castle on 400 m above sea level. NN in the Solitude state forest district in the Weilimdorf district of the state capital Stuttgart in Baden-Württemberg .
The hilltop castle, 400 meters south of Dischingen Castle , was built at the end of the 11th century and destroyed in the second third of the 12th century.
The former castle complex had a castle area of around 25 by 40 meters. This is bordered in the south by a gorge, on the north and east side by a ditch 2.5 to 3 meters deep . In the north and east of this main ditch there is an additional wall with another one meter deep ditch. Remnants of the wall have not survived above ground.
