The castle Friedewalde is an Outbound castle in the district Friedewalde the city Petershagen in the Minden-Lübbecke in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The castle was founded around 1327, when the place Friedewald ("Vredewolt") was first mentioned in a document, was owned by the city of Minden and served as a defense against the sovereigns in the north.

The former castle complex probably had a solid stone house, a moat , a wall, drawbridges and cannons. The Burgstall is built over today with the Friedewalde rectory.
