The castle Iversheim was a castle in Iversheim , a district of Bad Münstereifel in North Rhine-Westphalia . It was probably north of the church .
The appearance of the castle is no longer known.
In the 14th century, a local aristocratic family appeared who had the castle as a fief of Peter von Kronenburg . After the Kronenburger died out, the castle came into the possession of the counts of Blankenheim . In 1610 a gentleman from Ahr zu Antweiler appeared in the state parliament as owner of Iversheim Castle . In 1732 the Counts of Manderscheid-Blankenheim were the owners. As recently as 1822, a noble seat was mentioned in the district administration files of the Rheinbach district . Then the track of the castle is lost.
