The castle quantities is a Outbound castle in the Won "Kaibenriedle" west of the district amounts of the municipality Schallstadt in Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald in Baden-Württemberg .

In 1466 the castle was mentioned as "Burgstal zu Mengen". Nothing has been preserved from the castle complex, which can no longer be precisely located.
