Sonnensturm Castle

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The castle solar storm is a stately villa in the district Walchstadt the Upper Bavarian municipality Icking ( Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen ). The villa has 29 rooms and an extensive park-like garden.

Augspurg and Heymann

From the spring of 1916, the women's rights activist Anita Augspurg lived in the house together with her partner Lida Gustava Heymann . As a result of the inflation in the years after the First World War, Augspurg and Heymann had almost lost their property, except for the property, and the castle had to be sold. Both stayed in the house until they fled from the National Socialists in 1933.

Frobe

In 1965 the actor Gert Fröbe bought the villa. He had known them since 1945 when he was stationed there as a medical soldier. The property became his private retreat, but the property in need of renovation represented a financial mortgage for Fröbe. When in the 1980s there were fewer roles, Fröbe sold the house in 1984. The Gert-Fröbe-Weg has been running behind Sonnensturm Castle since 2013 .

today

Today the entrepreneur Rolf Christof Dienst lives in the house .
