The castle Stotzheim is an Outbound Wasserburg in Stotzheim , a district of Euskirchen in North Rhine-Westphalia .

There are no more traces of the long-gone castle courtyard. A knight based in Stotzheim was mentioned in 1610 and 1730, when the court of the Duke of Jülich to feud went. He was mentioned on the Jülich knight's slip, most recently with the note that Georg Anton Freiherr von Beissel zu Gymnich was sworn in on April 10, 1710 for this purpose . Later the knight's seat came to General Christoph von Albada and Franz Albert von Bolandt, who had both married a Beissel, with the qualification of its owner to the state parliament. In the 19th century the property was probably sold to the bourgeoisie. Around 1900 the Schumacher family appeared as owners.
