Stuttgart Castle

The castle Stuttgart is an Outbound castle probably in the former grave road 11 (now King Street / bottom of the wall, between school and Stiftstraße) and thus identical to the 1944 and burned in 1953 broken old stone house in Stuttgart .

According to tradition, the castle was built around 1100 by Bruno von Beutelsbach , Abbot of Hirsau (died 1120). Nothing has been preserved from the former castle complex. There is also discussion as to whether the castle built by Bruno was one of the forerunners of the Old Castle , about 200 meters further northeast .
