The Winkel Castle is an abandoned Niederungsburg 150 meters south of the "Untere Hof" near the Winkelhof district of the Ummendorf municipality in the Biberach district in Baden-Württemberg .

The castle was probably built by the von Winkler family in the 13th century, the family was first mentioned in 1249. From 1368, the owners of what was then known as the Burgstall were the lords of Essendorf. Nothing has been preserved from the former castle complex.
