Burghuislein
The Burghuislein is a building built around 1460 in Königstein im Taunus with the address Kugelherrnstrasse 21. It is a listed cultural monument.
The Burghuislein is located directly below the grounds of Königstein Castle . The vaulted cellar accessible from the street has a wall thickness between 60 and 90 cm. Above are two floors with a gable roof. The framework on the upper floor was damaged in the town fire in 1792 and was partially slated up after being repaired. The windows of the building are of different sizes and come from different eras. The window of the room was originally a funnel-shaped window niche. The round arch frieze on the front is striking.
The building was temporarily the seat of the Kugelherren and the Capuchin Monastery of Königstein .
