The Burgkopf is a mountain with a height of 371.1 meters in the Hunsrück near Fell and Lorscheid .
Located between Welgerbach and Feller Bach , it houses the remains of a Roman temple complex. During excavations, three Gallo-Roman temple temples were discovered, in the center of one temple the cult image of the god Silvanus was found . A myth has it that a " golden calf " is buried there.
