The castle rest Bollingen is an Outbound High Middle Spur castle on the 605 m above sea level. NN high Schlossberg on the edge of the Kiesental south-west of Bollingen , a district of the Dornstadt municipality in the Alb-Danube district in Baden-Württemberg .
The castle, which was probably built in the 13th century, was destroyed in the 14th century. Presumably it was the ancestral seat of the Roth von Schreckenstein . All that remains of the former castle complex are traces of the terrain and the remains of two narrow neck ditches .
