Bollingen is a district of the Dornstadt municipality in the Alb-Donau district in Baden-Württemberg . As part of the municipal reform in Baden-Württemberg , the municipality of Bollingen was incorporated into Dornstadt with the hamlet of Böttingen on July 1, 1971 .

The village is about two kilometers southwest of Dornstadt and can be reached via the 1239 road.

history

Bollingen is first handed down in 1221. In 1221 Bishop Konrad von Konstanz , 1225 the monastery Elchingen in the place was wealthy.

The place came from the Ulm family Ansorg via the von Bach, the Ulmer Schleicher and Gienger in 1486 to the German order commander Ulm, the emperor Friedrich III. In 1487 a local court approved. The city of Ulm had supremacy.

Bollingen came to Bavaria in 1805 and by the border treaty between Bavaria and Württemberg in 1810 to the Kingdom of Württemberg , where the place was subordinate to the Oberamt Blaubeuren .

During the district reform during the Nazi era in Württemberg , Bollingen came to the Ulm district in 1938 . In 1945 the place became part of the American zone of occupation and thus belonged to the newly founded state of Württemberg-Baden , which was incorporated into the current state of Baden-Württemberg in 1952. In 1971 Bollingen was incorporated into Dornstadt .
