The Reichenfels castle ruins stand at the exit of the Sommerauer Graben in the market town of Reichenfels in the Wolfsberg district in Carinthia . The ruins of the castle is under monument protection ( list entry ).

Remains of a medieval ring and an older residential building with extensions in the 15th and 16th centuries have been preserved. On the slope side there is a wide neck ditch . To the north of the moat, some remains of the ground floor of the late Gothic castle are still preserved.
