Life

Mann worked as a film actor in the GDR in the early 1970s . During this period he starred in several DEFA films. The film databases IMDb and filmportal.de each prove his participation in four films. The film database IMDb is running the youth film Der Rote Reiter as its first film appearance . In it, Mann embodied the teenage worker boy Michael, whose greatest wish is to become a Budjonny rider ; from his home in the Ore Mountains he set off for Petrograd in 1920 . Mann was marketed as a youth idol with postcards and portrait photos when the film was released in the GDR .

He then played one of the leading roles in the fairy tale film Sleeping Beauty in 1971 . Directed by Walter Beck , he was at the side of Juliane Korén the Prince. Here, too, Mann embodied a similar type of role; a youthful identity figure in which the cinema-goers could find themselves. In the biography Despite it all! he took on the role of the Kulle carpenter. He embodied a young man who fought together alongside Karl Liebknecht for a "Free Socialist Republic of Germany".

Burkhard Mann later studied electrical engineering and microprocessor technology at the TU Dresden , became a graduate engineer and worked as a development engineer for microprocessor-controlled measurement technology. He has been developing telecommunications and satellite systems since around 2000 .

In the 1980s he wrote a. a. an article about computer technology in the magazine rfe (Rundfunk Fernsehen Elektronik) 08/89. Today man works as a television customer service entrepreneur.
