Burkhard Pechmann

Burkhard Pechmann (* 1957 ) is a Protestant theologian , pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hanover , an old people's home - pastor and author.

Life

After completing his studies, Pechmann worked as a pastor in various parishes, including the parish of St. Petri in Hanover-Döhren . In 2003 he switched to pastoral care for the elderly and since then has worked in the Bugenhagen community in the southern part of Hanover and in the community of the Melanchthon Church in the Bult district . In this area, four large old people's and nursing homes were temporarily operated; the GDA-Wohnstift am Döhrener Turm , the DRK-Altenzentrum on the former Elkartallee, the Gustav-Brandt'sche Foundation on Bischofsholer Damm and - in the vicinity - the Stift zum Heiligen Geist.
