Burning the Masses is a death metal band from San Diego , USA, founded in 2006 .
Band history
Burning the Masses was founded in 2005 in San Diego , California . After the band had released their first EP Volatile Existence in 2006, the label Mediaskare Records noticed the band and signed them. The EP was re-recorded and released.
In 2008 their first album Mind Control was released by Mediaskare Records, which contained both metalcore elements and progressive characteristics of technical death metal .
On November 23, 2010, the band released their second album Offspring of Time , which is based even more on Technical Death Metal and completely dispenses with Metalcore influences. In December 2010 the band played at the third December Decimation Festival with bands like Winds of Plague , As Blood Runs Black and Carnifex .
