The Burrows Glacier is a hanging glacier in East Antarctica, Victoria Land . In the Denton Hills , it is on the south face of the Garwood Valley across from the Garwood Glacier . The glacier provides water and nutrients to the Nostoc colonies below.
The New Zealand Geographic Board named him in 2002 after Colin Burrows (1931-2014), a lecturer in the Department of Botany and Microbial Sciences at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand .
