The Garwood Glacier is a small glacier in the northwest section of the Garwood Valley in East Antarctic Victoria Land .
He was discovered and mapped by participants in the Discovery Expedition (1901-1904) under the direction of the British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott , but initially remained unnamed. It was not until Thomas Griffith Taylor , head of the western group at Scott's Terra Nova Expedition (1910-1913), named it in connection with the valley of the same name after the British geologist Edmund Johnston Garwood (1864-1949).
