Busalangga is an Indonesian Desa ( "village") in the district ( kecamatan ) Red Barat According to ( administrative region Rote Ndao Regency , Province East Nusa Tenggara ) on the island of Roti .

Geography and inhabitants

Busalangga is located in the north of the Rote Barat Laut district, the administrative seat of which it is also. In 2010, 3,427 people lived in Busalangga.

fauna

The lakes around Busalangga are part of the habitat of the last Chelodina mccordi mccordi , the western subspecies of the McCord's neck turtle . But here, too, the turtles are threatened with extinction due to illegal animal trade and loss of habitat.
