The nichtnavigatorische radiolocation service ( English radiolocation service ) is a radio service for the purpose of nichtnavigatorischen radiolocation . The radio stations involved in this radio service use the reception of radio waves to determine the location of an object, provided that it reflects or emits radio waves.

The non-navigational radio location service is used by military radar sensors , mainly on land, but also in satellites, ships or missiles, as well as fire control radar sensors , weapon control radars, radio measuring sights (FMV for short) and radar target operators.
