The Vilnius Bus Station (lit.UAB Vilniaus autobusų stotis ) is a bus station in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius , a company ( Uždaroji akcinė bendrovė ). In 2012 it achieved sales of 3 million litas (0.9 million euros). The bus station is located at the Vilnius Railway Station . The station facilities cover the area of 3500 square meters. The covered bus arrival area is 2000 square meters. The territory is 1.8 hectares.
history
On April 4, 1974, the Vilnius bus station was opened and modernized in 2000. The project author was Vytautas Brėdikis . About 100 buses arrive every day. Around 1 million tickets are sold every year.
