Business Punk is a German business magazine .

history

The idea for the magazine came from Nikolaus Röttger and Anja Rützel . The concept for the magazine took third place in the Gruner + Jahr ideas competition in 2009, whereupon a test edition with a print run of 100,000 was published on October 15, 2009. After the test edition had reached a sold circulation of 42,000 copies according to the publisher, Business Punk was continued with two further editions in 2010. Three issues followed in 2011 and four issues in 2012 and 2013. In 2013 the editorial team moved from Hamburg to Berlin . The magazine has been published every two months since 2014. In August 2014, Ruth Fend took over the editorial management of Röttger's successor Matthias Oden, who left Business Punk after a year as editor-in-chief to become deputy editor-in-chief at the trade journal Werben & Sell . Fend, in turn, moved to Neon and Nido as editor-in-chief in 2016 , after which Christian Cohrs and Tolgay Azman took over the management of Business Punk. Julia Berger and Alexander Langer have been the editorial team since November 1, 2019.
